A much anticipated meeting between Age uk and the residents of Woodcot has been cancelled by Age Uk.

Why,  is not known. It was a much anticipated meeting not least because of Age UK’s mantra during 2025 that they were exploring a sale in 2026. However a reprieve has come! 

For the resident’s the news must have come as a relief as well tinged no doubt with not a little concern as their situation still remains up in the air…..Age UK do like to keep everyone guessing. 

Two bits of good news though….Woodcot is opening up for Easter - so be sure to go along and support Salcombe’s most beautiful unspoiled house  and gardens and best of all we are just 100 signatures shy of 4,000!
