ELDC have resubmitted plans to destroy Wood Lane Playing Field and 14 trees to create a 3G artificial football pitch and car park. Wood Lane Playing Field is a vital green space for the people of Louth and those who fail to see that should not be in positions of power.
The best way to stop ELDC from stealing another public playing field is to email dev.control@e-lindsey.gov.uk
In the ‘subject’ just put the planning reference:
N/105/01111/24
Then please explain why it is so wrong to fence off the last remaining public playing field for miles around and fell 14 trees to build a car park. Wood Lane playing field is a vital amenity for so many people.
There are currently over 100 objections on the planning page but we are aiming for 200.
If ELDC approve their own application to ‘steal’ another public playing field and vital green space, Save Wood Lane will apply for a judicial review and go to court. When successful, we will donate all spare funds to support the development of football facilities on a suitable site.
Every donation, no matter the amount, makes a real difference. If you can, please click the link below to donate or share it with others who might help—your support means a lot!
