Presenting to the Iowa County Board
Dear Friends,
Thank you for signing our petition against predatory corporate wind projects in Wisconsin. Your voice and participation matters; every single contribution, no matter how small, adds up to make big change.
This petition is still open, and will continue to gain more signatures over the next few months. However, we will be sharing the current results with the Iowa County Board tonight, May 18, 2021. What more can I do?
1. Contact your state legislators and demand change in legislation over the lax regulations that allow merchant corporations, corporate utilities, and the PSC to serve their interests over the public's. The PSC has shown that it is loyal to corporate utilities more than the residents of WI in ignoring the abundant concerns of residents.
Be persistent - legislators cannot forget that person that calls every week or month and tells their story. Tell your story and share your concerns. This contributes to change greater than any other way.
2. Attend the Listening Session to voice your concerns over Pattern's Upland's wind project, with Senators Marklein and Novak in Belmont on May 28, 2021. Time and location will be announced soon in another update.

The ATC and PSC approval has been taken to court by local environmental groups. Sign the petition to show your opposition of this unethical and environmentally detrimental high-transmission line.
