Another consequence of AELTC’s devastating plans is the end of the highly successful junior academy at Wimbledon Park Golf Club. This Junior Golf Academy has been flourishing since 2012 with currently over 170 participants, boys and girls. Just when Merton are on a drive to encourage young people to participate in sporting activity… AELTC shut off a thriving sporting initiative.
