We want to hear your Weston Big Wood memories and stories.
Do you remember playing beneath the canopy as a child? Walking along shady green paths with your family, watching wildlife, listening to birdsong, collecting conkers, climbing and exploring, or simply finding a quiet place where the world seemed to slow down?
We’re compiling them into a special book to accompany our petition, which we will be taking to 10 Downing Street for the Prime Minister to read.
You don’t need to write an essay. A few words, a favourite memory, a photograph, or a story about what Weston Big Wood means to you could become part of its story.
And please think about someone who may not see this post — a neighbour, friend or family member who doesn’t use Facebook or who might struggle to access online information and to sign the petition.
