1. I am against our City Council Member dumping a disproportionate share of homeless, up to thousands, in my Westchester & Playa Del Rey community, as is proposed by many city officials and CD-11 candidates; every community needs to share this burden
2. I am against housing homeless on land near LAX taken by eminent domain from over 4,000 of our neighbors because it was unsafe for human habitation
3. I am against any homeless housing in my community without community involvement
4. I am against any failed model of "housing first" without mental health and addiction services onsite
5. I am against any housing near schools (public or private), senior center, daycare centers, parks or senior living facilities as they attract violent crime (80+% increase within 1 mile of housing projects) which leaves this population vulnerable.

6. I am against using the Northside Development (area north of LAX from Ralphs on Westchester Parkway west to the ocean) for "homeless housing villages" as has been proposed
7. I am against any policy that does not enforce laws on the books. If you don't like the laws, change them with input from your constituents but do not ignore them (i.e., RV, van, cars permanently parked on public streets)
8. I am not opposed to doing our fair share in sheltering homeless; however, I refuse to be the dumping ground for the district.
