Planning application, 20/07214/REM has been withdrawn by developers, Backhouse and the case has been closed. If any other application is made at this site it will have to be started again from scratch - right back to outline.

We wanted to say a big thank you to all of you for supporting us in our campaign to stop the development of land east of Damask Way  in Warminster, Wiltshire.

All the hard work and determination has paid off. It's been 5 years but there is to be no luxury housing built on this important wildlife site which connects Southleigh woods, the river Wylye and the Smallbrook Meadows Nature Reserve.

It appears that the developers still own the land so we still need to keep our eyes on the ball but it is great news that the habitat and wildlife at this site has been reprieved for now.
