People have been reaching out asking how they can best support Walker's Cafe at the City Planning Hearing that's taking place tomorrow morning, 9:30 am on Zoom. Meeting details / how to join on your computer or phone here.

Here are our asks / some points that it would be helpful to bring up:

- Walker's Cafe has served the San Pedro community for a CENTURY.
- Red flags: Prospect Group did extensive illegal unpermitted work onsite and has stonewalled interested cafe tenants
- Please hold the developer accountable. Walker's Cafe is being completely boxed in!
- If these plans are approved as proposed, it won't pencil out for an operator to reopen the historic cafe
- Protect the future of Walker's Cafe with the following conditions (so-called "Q conditions"):

1) A substantially reduced footprint for the house in the back so Walker's has enough room to function
2) A Q condition that Walker's Cafe must be kept operational
3) Don't let them break ground on the house in the back until they have made substantial progress on the restoration of Walker's Cafe
