Since I last wrote my update to you, 4 days ago,
1958 extra people have now signed our petition.
This is an enormous number of new supporters, and I do not know how to say thank you .I just wish the Government were listening and, in so doing, realising that what it is suggesting is not what this country wants, for a huge variety of reasons. It is very touching to see that all these signatures come from all over the UK – and even abroad. No doubt there are those who are backing us because we are trying to protect a poignantly beautiful park from being altered to such a point that it will become unrecognisable; others will be because they are worried about the consequences of this crass and over-scale development on the Westminster World Heritage Site; others because this part of London does not need an extra 3 million visitors a year; other still because they believe that the Holocaust could be taught better at the Imperial War Museum’s new Holocaust Galleries, less than a mile away… Many, I think, will be supporting us because our fight is against an autocratic political establishment that has been running a dirty tricks campaign ever since the beginning of this project, ignoring all its own policies despite the moral principles they profess are at the core of this project.
Any day now we will be hearing whether we will be granted the opportunity to request a Judicial Review in respect of whether the Government is embroiled in a case of Conflict of Interest – by being the proponent of the scheme and at the same time the ultimate decision-maker. We are at a very important juncture.
It is never easy to ask for donations, and many of us have already donated not only huge amounts of time and effort, but also made significant financial contributions. Now however is the time for all the thousands of you who support us to go the extra mile, if you can. The beauty of CrowdJustice is that every penny counts, no donations is too small. In the last 4 days we reached and exceeded the minimum target London Park and Gardens Trust needed for the JR legal effort. More is needed, particularly as the Public Inquiry is around the corner and we are already engaging with the legal team who is driving our case.
If you really want us to win, please donate any sum, large or small, to either :

Many many thanks – Please continue to join and support us!
