First of all, another plea to all those who haven’t yet found the time to write an objection on the Westminster Planning Portal…This is the most important thing you can do to help!
Please also encourage others to sign…. We now have nearly 700 Objections – WE ARE TOLD THAT THIS IS TOTALLY UNPRECEDENTED! - …but it would be great to get to the 1000 mark before the Planning Committee Hearing. It is not too late, you still have time, and it really only takes 5-10 minutes. The link is here https://tinyurl.com/SaveVTG If you need any help, you can look at https://tinyurl.com/VTG-Crib for information on how to object.
The great news is that we have been in the press a lot in recent days, and have also been on LBC radio. This as a consequence of the recent many damning reports submitted by official Consultees and public bodies such as the Environment Agency, Royal Parks https://tinyurl.com/SVTG-Parks , Historic England’s Archaelogical wing, and ICOMOS, Unesco’s advisor.

Much as Eric Pickles, in his wisdom, did a whip-around to collect signatures from a number of over-stretched MPs battling Brexit, who probably did not even realise what they were signing, nobody except the applicants and their immediate entourage have come up with a good reason why it is worth sacrificing one of London’s best park when the Memorial could be better and serve its purpose more satisfactorily if built elsewhere. If nothing else, we are definitely ahead on rationality….
PLEASE WRITE IN YOUR OBJECTION – NOW IS THE TIME!
