Many of you have asked what more we can do to stop the paving of Verdin Park. Today, we’re taking the next step.

We’ve launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise money for legal representation. This will allow us to present a formal, professional objection to the car park proposal at the planning committee - and, if necessary, to take further action on behalf of the community.

Sadly, it’s become clear that our elected representatives are not listening to the people they serve. The overwhelming local opposition to this plan has been ignored, and we can no longer rely on them to speak for us.

This fund will ensure that the people of Northwich have a proper voice in the process. Every contribution - big or small - will help pay for expert legal advice and representation.

If any money remains after these costs, it will be donated to Northwich Town Council to go towards maintaining and improving Verdin Park — the place we’re all fighting to protect.
