We call on ESBC to reject Planning Application P/2026/00098 to build 295 houses in the Picknall Valley. The area is outside the settlement boundary set by ESBC; is not scheduled for housing development in the Local Plan; and is protected from development by the Neighbourhood Plan. Development would damage  biodiversity in an area which includes rare and many other species and create major traffic pressures. It will damage Uttoxeter’s  rural character and harm the Town’s quality of life.
