LAST CALL. Save Tyagarah beach. Council Chambers rally 830M tomorrow

National parks are now willing to engage constructively with all stakeholders about the future of the clothing-optional beach at Tyagarah IF (AND ONLY IF)  Council votes to DEFER. A vote to DEFER is a vote for democracy, a vote for open and transparent decision making.

Thanks to everyone who came to the rally on Sunday which was a great success. Read the full story here. We even made it to the front page of the paper and with the interview the next day on Sunrise our petition exceeds 6000 signatures.

There is more at stake than just loosing the beach. The beach is safer because the naturists congregate. The beach is friendlier because naturists are a community. The reserve is less vulnerable as developers don't want a nudist beach on the door step of their planned subdivisions.

Read the "Changes to development controls for land at North Belongil Beach" and start asking why are there so many changes including new roads and driveways on sensitive land and the removal of clause e in section E5.7.2 of not "compromising the amenity or safety"! (This Friday is the last day to comment on this)

Make your voice heard outside Byron council chambers at 70 Station Street Mullumbimby.. Tomorrow is D-day. Bring your placards, protest signs and loud voices.
