Fleur Anderson pledges her support

On the 10th June 2024, there was a local hustings at Holy Trinity Church in Roehampton. Fleur Anderson was in attendance fighting to retain her seat as our MP.

Many Toland Square residents had submitted questions for the candidates about the proposed build that would ruin our estate.

Fleur, who was committed to our campaign when the plans to build on Toland Square were first introduced, but who backtracked once Labour took over the plans, declared that she is opposed to the building of S2, the block earmarked for the centre of our estate. This means, therefore, that she is also against S3, as it will no longer be required because the current community building will remain in place.

This is excellent news and now that she has been re-elected we need to ensure she sticks to her word and pushes for the plans to be scrapped. Please do email her to remind her of her duty to her residents to follow through in fighting Aydin Dikerdim’s terrible plans. You can also remind her that Sacred Heart School is utterly opposed to the building of S1, which will negatively impact the school and most importantly, the children.
