Urgent - please comment to help us

The council have submitted their planning application and this is our last attempt to object with our thoughts to the council to make them realise that these plans would be detrimental to our community.

We ask that, if you so feel inclined, please comment on the application and 'object to the proposal' on these grounds and any others you think of:

• having our only green spaces taken away will negatively impact all residents' mental and physical wellbeing
• overcrowding will lead to antisocial behaviour and loss of community
• older kids will have nowhere to play
• the planned sites of the new playgrounds will greatly disturb residents because of their close proximity, leading to disgruntled residents and children abandoning the playgrounds
• the new clubroom site imposes on 2 blocks of flats, blocking their view of the green and light 
• traffic issues, including safety issues for pedestrians
• parking spaces being placed right outside people's homes and taking away even more green space
• the council have multiple brownfield sites they could build on, and should build on, instead of building on green spaces
