Taking away our green space

The council have confirmed in the latest round of public consultations, that they will be taking away a huge portion of our lovely green space, along with many mature trees, to build a U-shaped block of flats as seen in the images. This has been a devastating blow to the residents on Toland Square as the council had said on numerous occasions they wouldn’t take our green space away. They are not listening to the residents pleas for them to stop their ludicrous plans to build more unaffordable flats on the ONLY, small green space we have, on our very small and already overcrowded estate.

Shame on you Wandsworth Council!
