NEW SEWICKLEY TOWNSHIP PUBLIC HEARING will be advertised in the very near future for the planned residential development of Meadowcrest, LP.  This is a conditional use application, recommendations by our planning commission board can be put on every aspect of this development from the density to the landscaping.  One condition that has not been addressed is saving this historical feature; preserved in place, as one way to pay homage to our heritage & history. By signing this petition you are helping to persuade our officials (appointed and elected) how the demolition of a historical feature, such as this bank barn, is taking away from our history & landscape.  It doesn't seem fair that this barn should be subject to the demise of a developer without at least asking for the preservation to be conditionally considered.
