10,184 signatures so far!! Thank you.
We have the Freshwater and the Collaroy in operation, the Narrabeen under refurbishment and the Queensciff is languishing.
Narrabeen's refurbishment began in January this year and is expected to take a couple of months to complete.
We are aiming to have #ALL4 back in operation.
The Emeralds are proving useless, 80+ defects to be fixed and the trials under different conditions aren't going well.
Their services keep getting cancelled and bus replacements have to be found, as they don't always have the Freshwater Class in service to do the run for them.
The timetables are all over the place as the Emeralds can't keep to the schedule due to longer loading and unloading times, and the delay in the Harbour waiting for Wharf 4 is getting longer.
There are issues for disabled passengers, and those with prams and bikes, embarking and disembarking the Emeralds.
BUT...GOOD NEWS FOR THE FRESHWATER SUPPORTERS...our petition is going to be presented in NSW Parliament soon...and we have two other "Save the Manly Ferries" petitions to present at the same time, which will give us about 53,000 signatures to present to the NSW Transport Minister.
With the over 22,000 signatures on the e-Petition presented in March 2021, this means there are over 77,000 signatures in support of retaining and maintaining our beautiful Freshwaters.
