Dear All,

Thanks to all of you who are still sharing and talking about this ongoing petition.  There is some bizarre news just right for Halloween that the most influential and affluent landscape organisation in Cumbria, Friends of the Lake District (who are the regional branch of the Campaign to Protect Rural England) has joined the nuclear dump partnership of South Copeland- signing a pledge to be "neutral".   

Please write, phone, email and tell Friends of the Lake District to withdraw from the nuclear dump partnership which, say the Developer Nuclear Waste Services, expects "neutrality" from its partners, and instead to do what Friends of the Lake District's members expect and actually protect Cumbria by opposing the nuclear dump plans!
