The fact that West Cumbria Mining Coal Boss's Mine Overlaps the Seismic Test Area for a Deep Sub-Sea Nuclear Dump is bad enough. But the Coal Boss is also advising Government on the plan for the Deep Disposal of Nuclear Wastes and would have been instrumental in commissioning the Seismic Survey in the Irish Sea. Whether the Coal Mine opens or not is due to be decided upon in July by Government. Part of the West Cumbria Mining area has no known coal resource -the part that is within the seismic survey area. What a blatant conflict of interest. The image from The Coal Authority shows the West Cumbria Mining area in the black outline off the tip of Copeland, the blue hatch is known coal reserve. The area licensed to West Cumbria Mining includes the area of no known coal reserve which overlaps the Seismic Testing area in red on the overlaid map from Nuclear Waste Services.
