Mounted Patrol Impacts Lives

"BJ was at Kyle's January 4, 2006 funeral, with Kyle's boots turned backward in the saddle stirrups. I remember sitting in a squad before the start of his funeral, & watching BJ's feet dancing on the pavement outside of the church. I chuckled over those dancing feet. Kyle was sort of the same way-he hated sitting or standing still, no matter the occasion. After the funeral, I was able to steal away & have a quiet moment with BJ, I laid my forehead against his, & commended him for the job he did that day, & cried out my gratitude for protecting Ky on the streets."
