Yay we won...ish - The Spot is reopening but we need your help!

Thank you for your support in signing the petition to safeguard The Spot Laundrette.  Despite our considerable efforts to save The Spot, the landlord did not renew the lease.

But this is a happy ending story!  Ashleigh found a new location and will be opening across the road on 2nd Avenue early 2024.

However, our work is not yet complete. The costs to successfully transition to the new location and set up operations, we are reaching out to our dedicated community for financial support.

Your contribution will play a pivotal role in covering costs associated with the construction of a fully accessible laundromat, and to finance programs for our new non profit entity the "Laundry Spot Society".     

The non profit ensures the continuity of vital services for our vulnerable communities, preserving public health, and upholding environmental responsibility.  All things Ashleigh had been doing at no cost for years!
