The Light Rail is planned to go through our Priority Koala Conservation Area of Burleigh Hill and Koala Park. We don't need the Light Rail... We have an incredible bus system running the exact route they want to build the light rail on. No one is complaining about our buses, in fact.. We love our reliable, regular, modern and safe bus system. "Don't fix what ain't broke!" Stop wasting Ratepayers money Mr Tate. Labor promised me they would look at alternative routes.. Or No Light Rail at all. Fix the M1 and complete Heavy Rail to Coolangatta.
