It is particularly important that we get a big crowd together as there is a Coin Street Community Builders’ (CSCB) board meeting that evening, where significant decisions are likely to be made about the land on Queens Walk outside ITV. CSCB are the leaseholders of this land and they have the power to stop the Garden Bridge from being built upon 2500m2 of green open space that was intended as a public right of way, in perpetuity. We need to let CSCB know that we don’t want the Garden Bridge Trust to privatise this public space that was left to those who don't have a garden, or to destroy over 30 mature trees for a huge Garden Bridge commercial building upon our grassy river walk.
