Approaching three weeks and gaining momentum, we sincerely thank you for your input in support. To date the matter has been brought to the attention of Lord Benyon, 'Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs', whilst all hard copy letters sent to Mark Drakeford (First Minister) and various AM's in the 'National Assembly for Wales' and the powers in being at 'Natural Resources Wales', have not even drawn the courtesy of a single acknowledgement of receipt.

We need to bring more pressure to bear in whichever legal way you deem fit in the challenge against the mindset within the establishments that have the power and ability to review their stance and policies regarding 'Avian Predation', the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 offers protection to.

Section 28 of the Salmon and Freshwater Fisheries Act 1975, Part a) is not being adhered to, relative to maintain, improve and develop the salmon fisheries, trout fisheries, freshwater fisheries and eel fisheries, and Part b) Consulting interested parties as to the manner in which the 'Authority' is to discharge their duty under Part a) above.

An increase in support of the 'Cause' is required. 'Goosanders' and 'Cormorants', are so numerous today that their continued protection is unsustainable. Fish stocks are rapidly being decimated and will continue to or near extinction. These birds have no County or Country boundary and unfortunately non lethal methods to avoid the 'Predation' which we have constantly tried, does not work. The Goosanders and Cormorants will find a way to 'Predate', on our very precious fish stocks. The Salmon, Seatrout, Trout, and other speices of fish including the protected 'Shad', can not protect themselves, and unless a balance in nature is acheived, the fishing as we know it is doomed. This is not the Angler's fault, it is the disregard and mismanagement of the powers in being, against their directive in Section 28 of the Salmon and Freshwater Fisheries Act 1975.
