Ogle County Board Meeting - Tuesday, September 15th @ 5:30pm

Good morning everyone.

It looks to be shaping up to be a rather gloomy week so we hope you have plans for staying dry.  Tomorrow's meeting is at 5:30pm.  Be sure to update your calendars as both the Regional Planning Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals have been cancelled (this Thursday and next Tuesday, respectively).

Although data centers are not mentioned on the agenda, here is what we know: there is, yet, another revised data center ordinance draft bouncing around within the Zoning, Planning, and Assessments Committee (and  beyond).  Simply because there is a lull in public discussion, that does not mean that we do not continue the work of educating ourselves friends and neighbors.  It also does not mean that we relax our focus.  

The Ogle County Board has not visited any data centers.  This does not preclude us from doing so or from speaking with folks in close proximity to facilities.
