Good morning everyone!  We thought that this would be a good time for us to make a public plea for all of those whom have signed on to the petition to share some personal stories of what makes life worth living in the Rock River Valley and in Ogle County.  Has it been a childhood rooted in adventuring along (and in) the Rock River?  Getting into trouble at White Pines?  Enjoying Professor Scoops as a kid after swimming for hours at Nash?  Exploring Nachusa?  Gaining a respect for how our food is cultivated on any one of our storied family farms?  

Personal stories are vital to highlighting the profound disconnect between what we stand for as a community, what we as citizens value in our day-to-day and the proposed data center project adjoining the Byron Nuclear facility being promoted by shadowy interests on the Ogle County Board and the numerous economic development groups within our region.
