The Real Compassion Society is one of Vancouver’s longest held compassion clubs. Known as the Blue Door it lives on the 100 block of the DTES. The Blue Door serves Vancouver’s poorest postal code. We are in the final steps of securing a license but because of our unique service to Canada’s most marginalized population there have been some complications.

We are asking that all levels of government work together to help us help the people of the DTES get a safe supply of affordable cannabis. The last thing we need is for people to go back to purchasing cannabis on the street. 

Shutting down the Blue Door has put vulnerable people at risk in so many ways. Many use cannabis for health related reasons such as cancer, sleep aid, and pain management.
