Yesterday, I asked for comments on whether people would like Mitchell River Drawbridge-style replacement for the Powder Point Bridge. Today, I'd like your feedback on how much Duxbury taxpayers are willing to pay to replace the bridge. Please see the Facebook poll here. Remember the state and federal governments have offered $172 million for a Mitchell River Drawbridge-style replacements. Save Our Bridge's alternatives could range for $10 million to $40 million, and we may or may not be able to get the federal and state governments to pay for that. I have a plan, but it's not guaranteed.

The drawbridge aspect of the Mitchell River Drawbridge is immaterial. Please look at the rest of the bridge, but bear in mind that the stones around the drawbridge part look nice.
