MassDOT listening session tonight; Powder Point Bridge Advisory Committee meeting Friday

Duxbury residents and neighbors, please come tonight to the MassDOT listening session at 6 p.m. in the Duxbury High School cafeteria at 71 Alden Street. 

MassDOT plans to give a short presentation then break people up into little groups to get their feedback on a potential bridge design. 

• We plan to ask them to let us meet as a group, and we want the meeting recorded.
• As a backup, should that fail, we are going to send people into each little group to take notes, so we have an accurate account of what was said.

Our message to the MassDOT is that we want a bridge that looks exactly like the bridge we have now. They will try to get us to say something else. Please just keep coming back to the message.

The Powder Point Bridge Advisory Committee is meeting this Friday at 9 am in the Duxbury Senior Center. People can also join via Zoom.

Public Comment is at the end of the meeting. Open Forum is for members of the committee.
