Beaufort County Recreation and Land Use Committee and Beaufort County Council are tentatively scheduled to vote on the purchase of the Cherry Hill parcel on August 14th. These are the final steps toward making a passive park at Cherry Hill a reality and a wonderful opportunity to make your voice heard! Beaufort County Council members appreciate your written comments. Comments can be made before the Council Meeting by sending a CitizenGram on the Beaufort County website https://apps.beaufortcountysc.gov/feedback/ If you prefer to address your comments directly to each council member you can email them. Go here: https://beaufortcountysc.gov/.../council-members/index.html click on the member’s photo, scroll to the bottom of the page, and you will find an email address. You can write one letter and just copy and paste it to each email address.

Citizens can also demonstrate support by attending both the Recreational and Land Use Committee and Beaufort County Council meetings. Sign up before the meeting if you wish to speak. Once the times have been scheduled, I will post them here as a reminder.
