Last night Shellring Ale works hosted the monthly Greendrinks Beaufort presentation. So grateful that they made time for me to speak and that folks were so interested! Thank you to all the attendees who signed up. Beaufort County Land Use Committee meets on Monday to consider pursuing due diligence for the purchase of the property. It's a huge milestone in our effort. I would like to demonstrate a strong showing of public support with our signatures. If you can just share the petition with one person, it will make a big difference. Please note that we do not need and donations at this time.

 If you would like to attend or speak at the meeting, here is what you need to know.

 Beaufort County Land Use Committee is meeting next Monday, March 13, at 3:00 pm at to consider moving forward with due diligence for the potential purchase of the Cherry Hill Plantation property for use as a passive park. Council chambers are at 100 Ribaut Rd. This is an important piece of the process but we do have a receptive ear in the leadership of this committee.

 It is important that we demonstrate public support for this purchase and friendliness to the council. We will need the support of all members when the vote to purchase rolls around.  Let’s focus on why this particular property is important to our Community.
