Remediation has begun on the Pink House. Good news is: that would be the first step our Restoration Partner - or anyone - would do to update the house and restore it.
The company is sensitive to the importance of The Pink House to the region and beyond, and have been so kind as to tuck their equipment behind the house, including a cherry picker (folded down), so people can continue to visit, paint and photograph it without those awful things in the way. They also confirmed, as did 3 independent builders who have been inside the house or seen the contaminant reports, that the level of contamination given to the public has been overblown.
Remediation should be complete by Tuesday. We do not know when demo would start, but we work as if it would be immediately. We have made inroads on a Hail Mary effort. Can't say more but we said we'd work every minute while TPH stands and we are!
