Ranked 1st in the UK for student satisfaction with teaching in the Guardian University Guide 2027

Over the weekend, Philosophy at the University of Dundee got some excellent news: we are ranked 1st in the UK for student satisfaction with teaching in the The Guardian University Guide 2027, and 11th in the UK and 2nd in Scotland in the Philosophy subject table overall! 

Alongside coming 1st in the UK for satisfaction with teaching, we scored the maximum for 'value added score', which tracks whether students finish with better degrees than their entry grades predicted.
