Hello Everyone- We have heard back from the City of Rogers about the funding specifics of the parade. Please take a moment to review the communication with the City. We are happy to report that the City has set the record straight and not only will there be a parade but the funding is set up to do so!!! I want to issue a huge thank you to Director of Community Development John McCurdy for his thorough and kind responses. I also want to thank all of you for using your voice to make your stance on tradition and the Rogers Christmas Parade clear! I will say I am disappointed in the way the media handled this topic and will be reaching out to them to do a follow-up or issue a public correction. I am also disappointed in the attitude of the Mayor. I was able to get to the bottom on the issue in just a few days with having email conversations with City staff. Something that could have probably been solved with thorough journalistic research and followup. But I digress. Thank you again, everyone! THE PARADE is here to STAY!!! Merry Christmas! Heather
