Fishing organizations representing 3,000 fishermen in NS, PEI and NB recently turned down Northern Pulp’s invitation to give input on the company's Receiving Water Study and survey work. They explained why they were saying NO in a six page letter.

"Based on our past experiences with Northern Pulp, we have no confidence that any information we might provide would be accurately reflected in the documentation Northern Pulp prepares for the environmental assessment process. We do not want Northern Pulp to claim they consulted our industry while ignoring any information we provide.”
