This company has received close to a Billion dollars in tax payer money since it came to Nova Scotia.  The end result was air emissions continuously exceeding safe limits, extreme amount of water pollution, property values being flattened, businesses being limited due to the pollution of the Mill, our forests being decimated, and many endangered native species being furthered threatened.

Now they are fearmongering by saying , give us the green light to reopen so we can continue to further pollute or we will sue. 

The fact is, we have enjoyed the fresh, clean air and clean water since the Mill closed.  Our Communities has grown and are now flourishing, our property values have increased and Forestry products are at an all-time high when it comes to demand and value.  As a community we’re not going back to the way things were before. The change has been dramatic.
