Today the milestone of 2lac plus verified signatories on our petition 'Save the Nicobars' has been covered by Frontline Magazine under The Hindu Group:

"A Change.org petition demanding a halt to the Great Nicobar Island development project has crossed 2,09,500 verified signatures, its organisers announced on May 20, 2026. The petition, floated under the “Save Earth — Stand for Change” initiative of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam PURA, calls on the President of India, the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, and the National Board for Wildlife to withdraw plans for a residential township and hotel projects on the island."
