The Department of Local Government Finance has given the public until 5pm Friday December 7th to submit written comments regarding the proposed budget and tax rate increase. 

The City of Fishers has proposed a higher tax rate for 2019 to cover the costs of building the first phase of the Nickel Plate Trail.

There is NO BUDGET for the trail and NO FEDERAL APPROVAL to build it yet.

If you don't think the budget should be approved due to lack of public input and oversight of project costs...
