This is epic and can only serve to help local officials see that the Nickel Plate Road is a significant piece of history, capturing the interest of many thousands of people from all around the city, county, state, nation, and world! Please keep sharing the petition and encourage people to follow updates at www.facebook.com/SavetheNickelPlate Something just doesn't make sense to us... the City of Fishers mentioned use of the Nickel Plate railroad in its master plan (2011-2030), built a BRAND NEW loading station, and proudly advertises this on their sign. But they NOW claim that replacing the rail with a trail makes more sense. It doesn't add up... Please attend the community listening session Tuesday March 21 at Fishers City Hall.
