Just as a wee FYI, it’s actually Marie McNair who is the MSP for Old Kilpatrick as it falls under the Clydebank & Milngavie Constituency. So I would advise directing your emails to Marie.Mcnair@parliament.Scot as Jackie will most likely say that she is unable to assist due to parliamentary protocols.
I am also one of the Councillors for the Clydebank Waterfront ward and myself and my colleague, Cllr James McElhill, have been involved in the whole process, starting with openly opposing the original proposal from the Administration to consider the Hall and the other community centres for closure.
We have our concerns regarding how and why the decision has been made to accept only one out of four bids and have written to Michelle Lynn, the Chief Officer of Assets, to raise these concerns and to request a meeting.
If anyone has any questions/concerns, I would ask that you also send them onto myself and Cllr McElhill as we will be able to raise them on your behalf when we meet with the Council, and at future committee meetings.
