A huge thanks to the local Mirboo North community, the extended community of arts and music lovers and advocates, to the surrounding communities and to all the media who helped share this story - the people and the music win!

After months of stress to the owners of the Mirboo North Hotel, it was agreed by the powers that be - that despite complaints and a targetted campaign from a person/s - the music can continue! There are a couple of clauses here and in particular there will be a focus on lower volume. So if you want to hear music live, pop into the garden!

The big win here is also for musicians who have a great place to continue playing music given so many venues are similarly being shut down or closing. We will always advocate for artists - bringing joy to people.

The weekly Summer Sunday sessions in the beer garden with a range of brilliant musicians in the area and beyond kick off on Sunday 1 December. 

We have just locked in some of the favourites again for the season including blues duo Wilson & White, Phil & Denzil Para, No Promises (Neen & Eric Collier) and many more who are just finalising dates. 

Despite hosting the most popular day ever at the sessions, sadly local punk outfit RATBIRD are invited only as punters this year. Given how many hundreds turned up to see them you can find them on Instagram, Facebook and at other venues. Go Ratbird!
