In a recent update on this petition which has succeeded in its goals of saving the mighty Centennial Sequoia, I wrote about the brief film Land Less about the magnificent Tongass Rainforest in the Alaskan panhandle, and the ancient indigenous relationship to the land.  The forest is currently under siege from logging companies eager to exploit it.
