The RALLY TO SAVE THE CENTENNIAL SEQUOIA AND SQUARE is Today!!!

                                           Thursday JUNE 12, NOON
                                              CENTENNIAL SQUARE

The imminent rally was discussed on CFAX:

There is also a CFAX poll: "Should the Sequoia tree at Centennial Square in downtown Victoria be saved?"

Please come! We need to show Council, by our numbers, that they must not proceed with this destructive plan!

The organizers of the Rally, Friends of the Centennial Sequoia, will be joined by Community Trees Matter Network and Friends of Centennial Square

There will be speakers and music.

Goals:

Save the magnificent and healthy iconic Sequoia!

Restore and rehabilitate the Square and save the Centennial Fountain.

Protest the City’s vote to push through, against massive public outrage, a design plan costing over $11 Million in public funds.
