Help us save the Andover Magic Treehouse, please come tomorrow!

To everyone who signed our petition: thank you. Now we need your voices in the room. Your signature showed your support; coming to City Council is a chance to tell them personally why this little place matters.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, October 13, at 7 p.m.
Andover City Hall, 1609 E. Central Avenue
Please arrive a little early, since public comments may happen near the beginning.

The City declined to put the treehouse on the agenda, but we’ve been told each person can take up to three minutes to speak during public comments. That means each of you can help by sharing your own experience and asking the Council to work with us on a way to keep it.

You don’t need a polished speech. A simple, heartfelt story can make a difference:

• What does the treehouse mean to you or your children?
• Has it made a walk more magical, sparked imaginative play, or helped you connect with neighbors?
• Why does our community need little places like this?
• What would be lost if it disappeared?

We can tell the Council what we hoped to create. You can tell them what it has meant to the people who actually use and love it. Those are stories only you can share.

If you’d rather not speak, please come sit with us and show your support. Bring a book in case there’s a wait, we’d love the company!
