• This is the last week before comments are due to the City of Cape Town. Please can you write a comment to this email on behalf of the Lochiel Smallholdings, sometime this week?

  If you can, be specific and ask for specific things in your comments. For example, ask how agricultural land will be protected, or how the plan will avoid amounting to expropriation. Ask why productive land was targeted, rather than vacant government land. 
  
  We hope that engagement and public participation may help us avoid lengthy and expensive litigation later on. 
  
  
• Please consider sharing our petition this week with friends, family, or on whatsapp groups you are a part of. Consider saying why the Lochiel Smallholdings matter to you, and how you are connected to us. Connection is everything.
•  Our goal is to get to 3000 signatures by today, and to 4000 by the end of the week. Together, I'm sure we can reach this goal!
