Last year, you were one of over 28,000 people who signed the petition to save the beautiful Exeter Church of St Michael and All Angels, Mount Dinham, from closure. Thanks to your visionary support, the church is open, growing, and a formal consultation is underway to create its own independent parish. But we still need your help if the future of St Michael's is to be secure.
Over the past year, we have seen how people value St Michael's Mount Dinham in all sorts of ways: as a place of worship and a wonderful community resource in Central Exeter; as Devon's finest Gothic Revival Grade One listed building; as a centre for musical excellence and learning; a popular venue for concerts, talks and fairs; a home to nesting peregrine falcons; and an inspirational place to reflect for all.
If you are able to give to St Michael's today, we can continue to be here for you. We don't receive regular funding from the government or from the Church of England, so your donation really will make a difference. It will help ensure our long-term financial stability, preserve St Michael’s Mount Dinham, its building and its music, and to make its heritage truly accessible to all.
Your gift will help us to do the following things:
· Keep this precious building well maintained, warm and accessible to everyone;
· Develop our rich musical tradition and strengthen our outreach to young musicians;
· Keep our doors open for services, concerts, events, and the local community.
Thank you so much for any support you are able to give.
