Fair to say the response has been incredible. thank you to everyone who has signed and promoted the petition.

Lichfield District Council have formally agreed to postpone the decision to close FGLC until September, when they will also consider this petition. There are many hurdles to overcome to keep the centre open, but the simplest thing we can all do now is make sure as many Lichfield residents as possible sign this petition before September. We're almost at 5,000. Incredible, but still just 5% of the Lichfield District population. Lets aim for 10,000 plus. 

Tell your family and friends in person, use every social media tool possible, lobby your Councillors, talk about it at work, in the pub, and at FGLC!
