Major Victory!! -- All French minors can Finish their Minors

Hello everyone, 

My name is Veronica Johnson and I am the president of the French Club at PFW. I want to share with you all a very important message:

As of May 3rd, all currently enrolled French minors at PFW are being allowed to finish their minors. We received news from Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs Carl Drummond that we would be able to have this amazing opportunity that should have been given to us from the very beginning. As many of you know, one of our major goals of advocacy was for current French minors to be able to finish. 

The French minor is still suspended, however we made major change to PFW in the process. We will keep fighting for the reinstatement of the French minor for future students to have this experience. Our petition will stay open to make sure PFW stays true to their word. 

To all of you, thank you so much for what you have done to support us. Thanks to all of you, we have shown the importance of languages, the principle of shared governance, and the power a community can make. Thank you all for help in creating change.
