The CMC ordered all Marine Corps aircraft to remain at the museum for 6 months to give the Flying Leatherneck Historical Foundation time to work out the details for relocating the museum. Although not finalized, work on an agreement with the City of Irvine is progressing and hopefully an announcement will be made later this summer or early fall.
